But it also can be used to encourage people to reach their goals.

One must first identify their Goal or Target Objective. 

Then they must hurl or throw a perfectly useful and appropriate object at it! 

In other words, they must propel themselves, their resume or C.V., money, skills and abilities, or whatever the required object is, at the Target, Job, or Goal. 

… One will never reach their goals, if they simply think about, conceptualize, idealize, or even identify their Goal …

… Without requisite and corresponding action …
